February 09, 2015: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due February 27
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Qualifications are due by 12PM (noon) EPT on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 27,000 and 40,000 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2014 and February 28, 2015.
Our qualification process is online. To buy SRECs in the March 2015 SREC Auction, an interested party must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders.
New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
The SREC Auction Manual, the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement, and the Addendum to the SREC Auction Manual have been posted to the web site. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
