February 13, 2017: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due March 1
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Qualifications are due by 12PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 33,000 and 50,000 2017 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017. In addition, at the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a bid for a single block of Pre-2017 SRECs (expected to consist mainly or entirely of 2016 SRECs). The block will have fewer than 500 SRECs.
Our qualification process is online. To buy SRECs in the March 2017 SREC Auction, an interested party must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders.
New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
