September 08, 2017: SREC Auction postponed
Due to the recent disruption caused by Hurricane Harvey, the SREC Auction originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2017, has been postponed to Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be the Sellers in the Auction, in which there will be two products, SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017, as well as SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2017 and September 30, 2017.
Qualification materials are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT Thursday, October 5, 2017. Bidders that tendered qualification materials in view of a September SREC Auction have the option not to resubmit their materials.
