May 11, 2020: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due June 3
Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, June 11, 2020. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
Product Offering. The following products will be available in the Auction:
- Between 15,000 and 20,000 2017 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017;
- Between 15,000 and 20,000 2018 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018; and
- Between 58,000 and 87,000 2020 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
The SREC Auction Manual, the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement, and the Addendum to the SREC Auction Manual have been posted to the web site. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
