February 19, 2021: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due March 10
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 2,100 and 3,100 2020 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020, and between 46,000 and 70,000 2021 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2020 and February 28, 2021. In addition, at the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a bid for a single block of Pre-2020 SRECs (expected to consist of 2019, 2018, and 2017 SRECs). The block will have fewer than 500 SRECs.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
