September 14, 2012: SRECs Available and Document Posting for October 2012 Auction
The four New Jersey Electric Distribution Companies (“EDCs”): Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Qualifications are due by noon on Thursday, October 4, 2012.
In this upcoming auction, there will be available: 1) between 12,000 and 13,000 SRECs created in GATS as generation between July 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012; and: 2) between 40,000 and 47,500 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2012 and August 31, 2012.
The Qualification Form, the Bidder Manual, and the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement have been posted to the Auction web site. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
