February 20, 2019: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due March 13
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be between 36,000 and 55,000 2019 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2018 and February 28, 2019. At the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will also have the opportunity to bid for a single block of fewer than 500 2018 SRECs. The 2018 SRECs were created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2017, and May 31, 2018.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
