September 16, 2019: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due October 8
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 1,400 and 2,100 2019 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019, and between 90,000 and 136,000 2020 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2019 and September 30, 2019. In addition, at the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a bid for a single block of Pre-2019 SRECs (expected to consist of 2018, 2017, and 2016 SRECs). The block will have fewer than 500 SRECs.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
