February 14, 2022: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due March 9
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, March 17, 2022. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 700 and 1,000 2018 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018, between 1,500 and 2,300 2021 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021, and between 45,000 and 68,000 2022 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2021 and February 28, 2022.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
