November 02, 2022: ANNOUNCEMENT: Range of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due November 30
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Qualification forms are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 41,000 and 61,000 2023 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2022 and November 30, 2022.
Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online qualification form. Beginning with the October 2022 SREC Auction, the online qualification form was made available via a new platform: https://njsrec-application.com/. The Auction Manager will send a reminder of a bidder’s login information to a bidder that activated their account and provided information via the new qualification form platform in the October 2022 SREC Auction.
Bidders that have previously qualified to participate in a prior SREC Auction and have not yet accessed the new qualification form platform, but wish to participate in the upcoming December 2022 SREC Auction, should reply to this email. New bidders must request an account to access the online qualification form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
The SREC Auction Manual, the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement, and the Addendum to the SREC Auction Manual have been posted to the website. Please visit the Documents page to access these documents.
