July 15, 2024: REMINDER: Qualification Deadline is Wednesday, July 24th @ 12PM
On July 9, 2024, the SREC Auction Manager announced that due to the recent disruption caused by Hurricane Beryl, the SREC Auction originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024 has been postponed to Thursday, August 1, 2024. The deadline to submit qualification materials has been extended. Qualification materials are now due by 12 PM (noon) EPT Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Bidders that tendered qualification materials in view of a July 16th SREC Auction have the option not to resubmit their materials. Please see the calendar page on the Auction website for the most up-to-date auction schedule.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 29,000 and 39,000 2024 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024. In addition, it is expected that at the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a bid for a single additional block of Pre-2023 SRECs (expected to consist of 2022 SRECs and 2021 SRECs). The 2021 SRECs were created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021. The 2022 SRECs were created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2021 and May 31, 2022. The single additional block is expected to contain fewer than 500 SRECs in total.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting the online qualification form: (https://njsrec-application.com/). New bidders must also upload copies of the signature pages of the Master SREC Agreement to the online qualification form.
On June 17, 2024, the Auction Manager sent returning bidders a reminder of their login information. If you need assistance accessing your account for purposes of completing the online qualification form to be able to participate in the July 2024 SREC Auction, please contact us. New bidders must request an account to access the online qualification form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
PLEASE NOTE! Our qualification process is ENTIRELY online. Signature pages for the SREC Master Agreement, if required, can be provided electronically by upload to the online qualification form. Hard copies are NOT required. Bid assurance collateral is NOT required.
