August 01, 2011: Document Posting and SRECS Available for August 2011 Solicitation
The four New Jersey Electric Distribution Companies (“EDCs”): Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an SREC Auction on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 to sell New Jersey SRECs. Qualifications are due by noon on Friday, August 5, 2011.
There will be between 11,000 and 12,000 Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) generated between June 1, 2010 and May 31, 2011 available in the August 2011 SREC Auction.
