January 31, 2012: SRECs Available and Documents Posting for February 2012 Auction
The four New Jersey Electric Distribution Companies (“EDCs”): Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an SREC Auction on Thursday, February 23, 2012 to sell New Jersey SRECs. Qualifications are due by noon on Monday, February 13, 2012.
There will be between 23,000 and 30,000 Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) generated between June 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011 (2012 SRECs) available in the February 2012 SREC Auction.
The Qualification Form, the Bidder Manual, and the Master Solar Renewable Energy Certificates Agreement have been posted to the Auction web site. Please visit the “Documents” page to access them.
