FAQ-137:
How do I determine the appropriate amount of bid assurance collateral to submit for the SREC Auction?
For the October 2013 Auction the amount of bid assurance collateral is $1/SREC for the maximum that the bidder intends to bid in the first round of the Auction. The maximum amount of bid assurance collateral is $5,000. A bidder that submits $5,000 as bid assurance collateral will be able to bid on all blocks available in the first round of the Auction. A bidder that submits less than $5,000 as bid assurance collateral will be able, in the first round of the Auction, to bid on a number of blocks for a product corresponding to the amount of bid assurance collateral that the bidder submitted divided by the block size for that product (rounded up).

FAQ-136:
What is the policy if a bidder temporarily does not have a valid fax number?
If a bidder temporarily does not have a valid fax number, the bidder should do the following: (1) send an email to the Auction Manager at SREC-Auction@nera.com stating that the bidder temporarily does not have a valid fax number; (2) enter “555-555-5555” for the “Fax” field in the online qualification form for the SREC Auction; and (3) inform the Auction Manager via email immediately when the bidder obtains a valid fax number. The qualification requirement for the “Fax” field will be waived if the bidder adheres to these three requirements.Furthermore, if a bidder does not have a valid fax number at the time of the SREC Auction and is successful in the Auction, the bidder should notify the EDC counterparties designated in its “Winner Letter” immediately to arrange for an alternative means of post-auction communication, such as email or secure file transfer.
