FAQ-149:
I won blocks in the SREC Auction. Prior to the March 2014 Auction, bid assurance collateral was subtracted from the total amount due to each applicable EDC. Is that still the case or is the bid assurance collateral going to be returned to us and then we pay the full contract amount?
Starting with the March 2014 Auction, bid assurance collateral will be returned to all bidders following the Auction. Thus, winning bidders must pay, to each applicable EDC, the multiplicative product of (1) the number of SRECs purchased from that EDC and (2) the final Auction price. Collateral will not be subtracted from this amount.
