Do the SREC Auctions allow bidders to purchase SRECs at lower prices?
Participation in the SREC Auctions is open to all SREC market participants, including SREC traders, aggregators, as well as BGS Suppliers and third party suppliers that have an obligation to acquire SRECs for purposes of satisfying requirements such as those of the New Jersey Renewable Portfolio Standards. The Auction Manager cannot provide information in regards to the level of competitiveness of the SREC Auction. Results of previous auctions, including the volume of SRECs sold and the final price per SREC, can be found on the Previous Results page of the SREC Auction website.

Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”) will be the sellers in the SREC Auction taking place on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
