September 14, 2021: ANNOUNCEMENT: Ranges of Available SRECs; Qualification Forms due October 5
Atlantic City Electric Company (“ACE”), Jersey Central Power & Light Company (“JCP&L”), Public Service Electric and Gas Company (“PSE&G”), and Rockland Electric Company (“RECO”) will be holding an auction to sell Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (“SRECs”) on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Qualifications are due by 12 PM (noon) EPT on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Product Offering. In this upcoming Auction, there will be available between 6,000 and 8,000 2020 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020, between 4,500 and 6,700 2021 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021, and between 92,000 and 138,000 2022 SRECs created in GATS as generation between June 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021. In addition, at the conclusion of the Auction, bidders will have the opportunity to submit a bid for a single block of 2019 SRECs. The block will contain fewer than 500 SRECs.
Interested parties must qualify by submitting an online Qualification Form. Bid assurance collateral is not required for this auction. The Auction Manager will send instructions to all returning bidders. New bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification Form by completing the Qualification Registration Form.
